Avoid the Obvious Guy
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Ain’t No Recession Low Enough
Grow Up, Gotdammit!
Today you need to go to a somewhat crowded area. Too crowded and people will have no where to go. The best is walking in the opposite direction of everyone else on a subway platform around rush hour.
The most important thing is to keep in mind that you are the ruler of your domain. Regal.
1. Walk straight, shoulders relaxed. Pretend as if you are an acrobat flying to the sky, holding onto your rope with your teeth. This should give your head up high.
2. Now slow down your pace dramatically. Think of yourself as slowly gliding through the crowd.
3. Make eye contact with people.
4. Be amazed as they walk out of your way. Those that are too busy staring at their phones or do not. Simply stop in front of them and wait for them to move. Unlike them, you are not in a rush.
5. You are not in a rush.
Keep at this for a while. It is amazing how slowing down and walking with confidence will lead others to part before you as you make your way.
Do this everywhere. Your grocery store, your college campus, social functions at your place of employment. Anywhere. Everywhere. Forever.
