In general, I’m just a browser – a window shopper – looking to see who is out there looking for love. 9 times of 10, the average Craig’s List poster is just looking for a good time. I wanted to be crystal clear that I was posting it as a singles’ blogger looking for stories for my website. In my post, entitled “Want to be on my blog?”, I said that I was looking for “juicy material” to share on my blog. I also mentioned that I was single. Overall, I had about 100 responses to my post. The responses ranged from pix of dix, scandalous stories, sex seekers, lonely men, and a few creepy dudes looking to make money off of this request. One guy wrote: “Still looking for stories to read and possibly share on your blog? I have a few and would love to talk in general, maybe we’ll have our own discrete fun;-) “ He had me until he got to “discrete fun.” I’m a blogger on a dating site. Obviously I’m not discrete.
